KNOWLEDGE-INTENSIVE OUTSOURCING
Benchmark analysis of how companies engage in knowledge-intensive outsourcing. Typically, this means outsourcing and partnering in product development, R&D and/or service development where suppliers are brought in based on specific competencies which directly contribute to production or development of the sponsoring company’s product and/or service offering, for example engineering, programming and design competencies.
The study included 25 firms engaged in knowledge-intensive outsourcing in addition to a broad selection of advisors, academics and vendors. We included companies from the IT, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, manufacturing, industrial services and design industries

GENERALIZED OUTSOURCING
Benchmark study on the use of outsourcing by Danish companies across four industries: IT, finance, pharmaceutical/biotech and manufacturing.
The study included 22 Danish companies from the four industries. Collectively, these companies report a turnover of over 157 billion Danish kroner and employ more than 110,000 in over 81 countries.
Our study has produced a fascinating picture of how outsourcing is currently being used by Danish firms.
